Liz Cresswell
Director of CSFPN Communications
Liz Cresswell is a Finance Associate at Morgan Stanley, specializing in investment management. She has built her career around social impact through her professional and charitable work. After a six-year tenure in DC, with stints at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Calvert Impact Capital, and National Geographic, she relocated to NYC to hit the finance world. Currently, her role at Morgan Stanley includes financial statement reporting, forecasting, executing projects, and performing research functions. In this capacity, she is offered a unique perspective and multi-faceted approach to financial and operational tasks.
Outside of the office, Liz continues to explore her passion for finance, philanthropy, and social impact in NYC through a fellowship program, volunteer pursuits, and most recently, at Columbia University via their Master of Science in Sustainability Management.
Liz also is actively involved a variety of social and athletic organizations, including Pi Beta Phi NYC Alumnae Club, the New York Junior League, and several intramural tennis and running clubs. She is a former collegiate athlete and an ultra-marathoner, having completed 11 marathons, including the Boston Marathon.
Liz grew up outside of Philadelphia and graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University with dual degrees in Accounting and Classics. Now settled into Columbia, she is very excited to meet fellow like-minded students and pursue solutions to global environmental and social problems, especially through finance!
