Katie Schmitz Eulitt
Director, Investor Outreach; Head of APAC Outreach – SASB
Katie’s perspectives are shaped by having lived and/or worked in France, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, and the U.S.A.. Following an early career in the performing arts, she has worked in finance, energy (fossil fuel and renewables), clean-tech, communications, and non-profit sectors.
Katie now serves the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) where she has been since its inception. As Director of Stakeholder Engagement, she and her team were responsible for recruiting and convening over 2,800 investors and industry experts to help vet SASB Standards during the earliest phase of their development. Katie now manages SASB’s Investor Advisory Group (IAG) which she helped found in 2016. The IAG now comprises over 55 investors with assets of nearly US$50 Trillion. She also founded and curates the ESG Integration Insights publication series.
Katie earned her BA in Japanese from the University of California, Berkeley, and her MBA from l’Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) in Fontainebleau, France. She also holds an Executive Certificate in Sustainability from the Presidio Graduate School, and a Global Competent Boards Designation (GMB.D).
