Courtney Lang is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in environmental science and energy economics. She is a second-year Master of Science candidate in Columbia’s Sustainability Management program, concentrating in Sustainable Finance. Courtney’s professional experience includes energy project finance and ESG portfolio management. Her personal interests include scuba diving and promoting children’s literacy through her children’s book about ocean conservation. Her passion is to pursue a career in impact investing that will allow her to help long-term investors maximize their total returns by supporting companies whose business practices ensure they will have ongoing access to natural resources, a stable and healthy workforce, and a well-governed market environment that allows the best companies to succeed.
